At Greenstone Psychology, our mission is to empower
individuals and families on their journey to mental wellness.
We believe in providing a safe, supportive environment
where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings.
Dr Greenstone brings 15+ years of clinical experience working with children,
teens, and adults to address complex issues, including anxiety, depression,
ADHD, Autism, addiction, and trauma.
In addition to individual and family therapy,
Dr Greenstone offers group therapies that include social skill-building for younger teens and executive functioning support
for college-bound teens.
At Greenstone Psychology, we believe that every client is unique and deserves a personalized treatment plan. Our therapists work closely with each client to develop a plan that suits their individual needs, goals, and preferences. We use evidence-based practices and regularly review progress to ensure our clients are getting the most effective treatment possible.
Our individual therapy sessions are designed to help clients navigate a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. We utilize evidence-based treatments to help clients build resiliency, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their goals.
Our couples therapy sessions help partners deepen their connection, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. We work with couples to identify patterns of behavior that may be causing distress and provide tools to help them build a stronger, healthier relationship.
Our family therapy sessions are designed to help families build stronger relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. We believe that every family has unique strengths, and we work with families to identify those strengths and build on them to create a more positive and supportive family environment.
Our PEERS-based Social Skills program includes ways that middle and high schoolers can improve their interpersonal skills by learning how to initiate/end conversations, learn when and how to trade and share information, identify social cues, handle peer pressure/bullying (physical and cyber)/rejection, be a good host, navigate disagreements, make phone calls, choose appropriate friends, stand up for themselves, and improve their confidence. It has been adapted to include experiences that many neurodiverse children face (e.g. impulsivity, poor boundaries of personal space, distractedness and not listening, disorganization, sitting quietly, and interrupting others) by increasing their immediate social awareness and helping them practice new skills with roleplay exercises. Parents are provided handouts for the skills being taught along the way to be involved as practicing partners.
Our ADHD College Preparation group helps older teens make a successful transition and stay on track to meet goals. We will focus on getting adequate sleep, healthy daily habits, life management skills, time management in the less-structured college environment, keeping up with class assignments, avoiding distractions and navigating the new social world.
Our teletherapy sessions allow clients to receive quality mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home. We utilize a secure and easy-to-use platform to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to discuss their concerns and work towards their goals.
